I’m going to start my blog off with... Sorry for not blogging on Friday and Monday. Friday I babysat all day then I spent time with my wonderful family. Yesterday (Monday) I went to bed really early after eating. This past weekend I caught some sort of cold. I’m up till four in the morning blowing my nose and coughing my heart out. =] Isn’t that great?
So getting you caught up. Science is now my most favorite subject. And it’s not because I have an awesome “lab partner”, it’s because I can actually have fun in this class. My teacher is really nice and not very strict. My lab partner and I quickly finish our work then just talk for the rest of the class. Lately our direction of conversation has been in the hands of Funny Pick up Lines.
We print pages worth and bring them to school highlighting the ones we like and discarding the rest. When we find a really fun one, we turn to each other and use it on the other. Its actually fun because we can actually just laugh and be friends, without feeling awkward, about the way we said the line or the way our body language is.
Even though I’m sick I can still do gym! Is that not awesome? We are playing volleyball in class and I’ve been promoted to one of the professionals. I’m really glad because volleyball is my second favorite sport to play. I’ve been paired up with the new girl Jamie and we have so much fun together. Like last week she over hand served it to me and it bounced back so hard it me in the boob. Man does that hurt! We couldn’t stop laughing for a whole 5 minutes!
These are the awesome things that happened in the last week. But the worst part of it all is the matter of how sick I am. Yesterday I almost passed out several times in class, and when ever I looked at my paper I wanted to puke. I had a throbbing headache and I could barely stand. Today all of that happened plus the fact that I’m constantly blowing my nose and I can barely stay awake. Yesterday I thankfully did not have to baby-sit, but today I still had to go and watch those amazing children. I spent my time sitting on the couch watching the oldest play my most favorite game in the world. HALO! =] I know, im cool. Plus the boys didn’t fight. So my mind had a break. But there is one thing I have been waiting to tell you all weekend.
Last Friday the funniest thing happened to me. After school I was Picked up and brought over to baby-sit the boy’s. The oldest did not have a very good day, so he locked himself up in his room. I was finally able to pry him from his room, when his brothers had just finished making crafts and went to their room to play. I said he couldn’t go in his room, so, he decided to play the “im going crazy out here let me back in my room” card. Let me just say it was funny. Finally he calms down and grab’s his mother’s ipod to play some games. He speaks into it, like most ipod allow, and the song I am A Gummy Bear by GummiBar. He gets a scary idea; He locks the ipod and runs to his brother’s room. He tosses it in the room onto the bed and shuts the door. He holds the door in spot as his brothers begin to scream. “AHHHHH GET IT OUT OF HERE!!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!” I couldn’t help but laughing. “Best grenade EVER!!!” I tell the Thomas (the oldest.) He just laughs and nods. I now know I should probably save the twins from this terrible song. I open there door to see them under their blankets rolling around on the floor. Man I wish I had my camera, but sadly I did not. I took the ipod and turned it off much to Thomas’s dismay. Well that’s my story for the day.
So my advice for you is whenever there’s a fake, there’s a real genuine somewhere else, we just need to tune is. In other words even when your sick and you just feel like throwing up, something awesome that you don’t expect is happening right beside you. You just need to find it.
